Q:What Is the Resolution of Your Camera Sensors?
A:Our pipe inspection cameras use high-quality 1/3" CMOS image sensors with two main resolution options: 1.3MP (720P AHD) and 2.0MP (1080P AHD). These camera resolutions are designed to provide clear, real-time images for different pipeline inspection applications.
Among our product range, 2.0MP / 1080P Full HD cameras are more widely used and available in a larger number of models. With higher image resolution, 1080P cameras can capture more visual detail, making them suitable for professional sewer inspection, drain inspection, and pipeline inspection where clear defect identification is important.
The 2.0MP 1080P AHD camera provides Full HD images that help operators observe pipeline conditions such as cracks, corrosion, root intrusion, blockages, damaged joints, and other structural problems. The higher resolution is also beneficial when recording inspection videos and reviewing footage after the inspection.
We also offer 1.3MP / 720P AHD pipe inspection cameras for applications where standard HD image quality is sufficient. These cameras provide clear images for general sewer, drain, plumbing, and pipeline inspections while offering a practical solution for routine inspection work.
In addition to camera resolution, overall image quality also depends on factors such as the CMOS sensor, lens, LED lighting, viewing angle, and inspection monitor. Our camera systems are designed to combine these components to provide reliable and clear imaging inside pipelines.
For customers looking for HD pipe inspection cameras or Full HD sewer inspection cameras, both 720P and 1080P options are available. However, 2.0MP / 1080P Full HD is our more commonly used camera configuration and is available across a wider range of inspection camera models.
